Birthday Dinner!

This friday I had a birthday dinner for some of my closest friends. Yesterday I went to the gym(!) with Axel and Rasmus. Yesterday I had another birthday dinner with my relatives. Afterwards me and Rasmus watched the movie 17 again with Zac Efron. So that's a short summary of my weekend!

Here's a little sneak peek on my dress I bought today! Next week is autumn break, I sooo need it...

Speaking of nothing, in marketing-class today we watched a video when Steve Jobs held a really good speech to the graduates of Stanford in the year of 2005. Really worth seeing!

Cucumber sandwiches and the Economist

I had a very interesting discussion with my dad earlier! In school we have a test on the different political ideologies coming up, and at dinner-time i mentioned one of the partys and off we went, discussing everything from how you write essays at the university to how the Economist is constructed. It may not seem interesting, but i assure you it really was!!! Ahh, time isn't enough. There's so much I'd want to do!! So here you go, a brief summary of my evening, which from here will be spent in front of my books. Good bye!

Just came home from the Star for Life-concert, where I was singing in the choir. I was there last year also, but the Triple & Touch-choir from South Africa surprised me again. Their deep, beautiful voices really gives you goosebumps..!

After a busy weekend I'm so tired! Hope you had a great weekend :)

Good morning! (day?)

I had a good time yesterday, me, Fanny and Olivia took the bus to Elvira, she was throwing a birthday party. So fun to meet so many new people! I was home 4 a.m. so I'm not on an "up&go!"-mood right now... Well, it was worth it!

Reminder to myself: don't be such a dracula and go out powerwalking in the sun!!!!

Olivia and some Tea

I just came home from Olivia! Spontaniously we met up, had some tea and went through Nelly.com's mid-season sale. Found a loooovely, dark purple dress that I just have to have!! REMINDER TO OLIVIA: find a dress!!!

Calm evening

Today I didn't have the energy to jump on my bike out in the cold, wet weather to get to the choir. My throat hurts a bit as well, so I suppose I did the right thing anyway. Instead I made salmon for dinner for me and my brother and just chilled, one need that sometimes.

Breakfast and Candles

A good day starts with a good breakfast! Hehe. I just love these dark, cold mornings sometimes. To light some candles, put on a blanket, listen to some cowsy music... Drinking tea out of a christmas-cup right now also. Am I the only one who's longing for christmas??

But tomorrow's the test so after that I'll probably have more time for my blog(read:life...). Well, I quite enjoy it, putting up tiny goals every day, especially to check them off after I'm done. Like the test tomorrow. Tomorrow. Not tonight.

Oh.. I didn't have the best morning, got sick(again)... But now I'm feeling better and will get started with my math.

Yesterday Olivia settled a dinner for us and gave me a present. So cute, she had even invited a few of my closest friends to surprise me, which they did with a lot of chocolate...

Early morning

Well, not that early. But earlier than I should've got up! I don't know, i've always been up very early in the morning.. So now I'm eating breakfast, reading "Today's Industry", an article about a 25-year old woman from Sweden who studies at Columbia and wants to connect top students to Swedish companies. Sounds very smart, considering the good reputation of Sweden in other countries.

In a bit more than an hour I'm taking the bus to meet up my classmates to do some photography, for our school project "My Sight". It's getting really cold outside so unfortunately I'll wear my down jacket and a big, knitted scarf..:(

Coffee

Took this picture in the middle of my coffee-break today. I've been constantly studying law for about 6 hours... Excluding the break when me and Olivia went out for a walk. This morning I sang in church though, so at least I didn't sleep away one precious study-minute!

I was here, I lived, I Loved

Sitting at the kitchen table now with my law-book in front of me, listening to Beyoncé.

I can't say I'm stressed, though I know that probably I should be. Can you get used to stress?

And at some weird, complicated way I think I enjoy it. Enjoy having things to go to, things to do or say and things to perform. To take a place in this world, let others know you excist and that you actually have something to show them, cause everybody has. And I won't say I'll try. I'll say I'll make it, and I'll make it great.

It may be stressful and demanding, but it's worth it.

Cause I'll make this life a good life
